Nathan Kim is a Director at Wafra, spearheading joint venture initiatives with Korean institutional investors, and is also responsible for the oversight and management of some of Wafra’s U.S.
real estate investments.
Previously, Mr. Kim was a General Manager at Samsung Life Insurance in Seoul, where he was initially the Head of Overseas Investments in Americas and Europe and afterward was in charge of both domestic and overseas real estate investments.
Prior to that, he was a Transaction Manager at the Hampshire Companies (private equity real estate funds).
He began his career as an Associate at CBRE Manhattan and a Manager at HAUD, an architectural firm in Seoul, Korea.
Mr. Kim earned a BS in Architectural Engineering and an MArch in Architectural from Sungkunkwan University in Seoul, and an MDes in Real Estate and Urban Development from Harvard University.
He founded KREPA (Korean Real Estate Professionals’ Association of America) in New York in 2006, served as a chairman until 2011, and is on the board as a Founder.
