James J. Kropid

James J.
Kropid is currently the Director at the Foundation for an Independent Tomorrow and the President at Mr. Kropid Investments.
He is also a Trustee at the United Way of Southern Nevada, Inc. and the Desert Research Institute.
Previously, Mr. Kropid served as the Chairman at Southwest Gas Corp.
from 1997 to 2011.
He was also the Chairman at YMCA of Southern Nevada and the President-Nevada Division at Centel Corp.
Additionally, he held the position of President-Nevada & Texas Division at Central Telephone Co. of Texas, Inc. and General Manager at Employers Insurance Company of Nevada.
From 1993 to 1995, he was the General Manager-Industrial Insurance System at the State of Nevada and the President-Las Vegas Area Council at Boy Scouts of America.
Mr. Kropid obtained his undergraduate degree from DePaul University.
