Colum Carr

Mr. Colum Carr is Senior Managing Director at Sunrise Securities Corp.
He joined Sunrise in June 2009 as a Senior Managing Director to focus on large ticket leasing opportunities.
Prior to joining Sunrise, he operated his own asset finance advisory business.
Previously, he was managing director at AllCapital, where he built, financed and managed an operating lease portfolio of rail car assets.
He worked at AIG Financial Products Corp.
from 1995 to 2006, providing defeasance, loans, letters of credit and equity investments in numerous tax based leasing transactions.
Before moving to the U.S.
in 1995, he spent the previous ten years in the aircraft operating lease industry with GE Capital Aviation Services and with GPA Group plc, concentrating mainly on raising debt finance and on tax based sale leaseback transactions in various jurisdictions.
He spent the earlier stage of his career teaching Accounting & Finance, as treasurer of a major construction project and as a trainee accountant.
Colum is presently a trustee of two aircraft securitizations.
Mr. Carr graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from University of Dublin, holds an MBA from University College Galway and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
