The Company operates in three business segments. The Life Care segment manufactures and sells healthcare-related products used in daily life in the health and medical fields, and medical-related products such as medical devices and medical supplies used in medical procedures. The Information and Communication segment manufactures and sells components essential for digital equipment, including electronics-related products that are indispensable for modern digital information and communication technology and imaging-related products that are necessary for capturing images and video as digital information based on optical technology. The Others segment is mainly engaged in the speech synthesis software business and the information system services business.
