DFR Gold Inc. is an exploration and mine development company focused on gold in West Africa. The Company holds interests in a portfolio of gold exploration projects in Cascades - Burkina Faso and Gurara, Nigeria. It also owns the Beravina Zircon project in Madagascar. The Company holds approximately an 80% interest in Cascades - Burkina Faso project. The project is located in the Banfora greenstone belt of the West African Birimian Supergroup in Comoe province, southwest Burkina Faso. The Company holds approximately 51% participating interest in Gurara project. The Company, through its Madagascar based subsidiary, Compagnie Generale des Mines de Madagascar, owns a Mining License (Permis d’Exploitation PE 8096) for the exploration and mining of the Beravina deposit. The project is located in Western Madagascar within the Melaky region, covering approximately 625 hectares and is approximately 220 kilometers east of the port of Maintirano, near a state road.
