As an Investment Manager at FFA, Francis supports strategic investments into innovative startups joining FFAs programs and provides fundraising support to our portfolio companies.
As a former investment banker and venture operator; he’s had experience working on M&A and capital raising deals for corporates across Sub-Saharan Africa.
Prior to joining FFA, Francis was the Head of Innovation for BIMA’s Ghanaian subsidiary (a leading global insuretech driving affordable micro-insurance and m-health products to the underserved), where he led innovation on products & tech and supported business model strategy.
Francis is passionate about tech solutions that tackle basic but challenging problems in the African region at scale.
He holds a BSc.
in Actuarial Science from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and a Pg.
Dip.
in Strategy and Innovation from the Said Business School, Oxford.
