Mr. Ron A. Mortenson is Research Assistant at Amherst H.
Wilder Foundation.
He joined Wilder Research in 1997 as a Survey Interviewer, and now assists researchers in a variety of ways, including development of surveys, coding and preparation of data for data entry, editing and proofreading reports, as well as conducting specialized interviews.
Among areas he has been called upon to assist with have been homelessness, troubled youth, and programs and services for the elderly.
Prior to joining Wilder Research, Mr. Mortenson worked with homeless and runaway youth programs, with at risk youth as a therapist and counselor, and with youth work professionals and foster parents as an independent consultant.
Mr. Mortenson holds a BS degree in Secondary Education from Mankato State University, Mankato, Minnesota.
