Richard H.
Parks has been President and Chief Executive Officer of West Tennessee Healthcare, Inc. since July 2007.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a Member of the North Carolina Hospital Association Policy Development Committee.
Prior to joining West Tennessee Healthcare, he was a Director of the Methodist College Undergraduate and Graduate Program Advisory Board, and Carolina Summit Healthcare.
Previously, Mr. Parks was President of the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce, Co-Chairman of Greater Fayetteville Futures, Fayetteville Economic Development Corp., the Southern Regional Area Health Education Center for North Carolina, and Chairman of United Way of Cumberland County and Fayetteville Technical Community College Foundation.
He was an Adjunct Professor at the University of Alabama-Birmingham.
Mr. Parks received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of South Carolina and a Master of Health Administration degree and an MBA from Georgia State University.
