Raphael Cheminat

Mr. Raphael Cheminat is Group Country Head of Japan at Societe Generale Securities Japan Ltd. Mr. Cheminat was previously employed as Chief Country Officer by SG Securities Korea Co., Ltd. He joined Societe Generale in 1998 and has held several positions within the Group.
He started in the Audit department of Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking in Paris and New York, before moving to Societe Generale in Bulgaria (international retail banking activities) where he was Head of the Inspection Department.
He relocated to Asia in 2006 in the Compliance Department covering the Global Market's Equity businesses.
He was Chief of Staff to Hikaru Ogata, CEO of Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking Asia Pacific.
Mr. Cheminat holds an Engineer degree from Ecole Polytechnique Universitaire de Lill (Polytech Lille) and a Master degree from ESSEC Business School, Paris.
