Prior to joining the Research Division of Sveriges Riksbank in 2013, Dr. Boel was an Assistant Professor at Bowdoin College (2006-2013), and a visiting faculty at the University of Pennsylvania (2008-2009).
She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Università L.
Bocconi in 1999 and both her Master of Science in Economics and PhD from Purdue University in 2004 and 2006, respectively.
