The Health Enhancement Research Organization (HERO) is a national, member-driven nonprofit dedicated to advancing workplace health, well-being, and performance through evidence-based research, collaboration, and employer leadership. The non-profit company is based in Birmingham, AL. HERO connects science and practice to demonstrate the value of health and well-being initiatives as a business imperative and serves as a hub for employers, researchers, and wellness professionals by offering membership benefits such as access to think tanks, committees, educational webinars, forums, and summits.
