Mr. George P.
Beal is a Managing Partner & Portfolio Manager at The Boston Family Office LLC.
He co-founded the firm in September 1996.
In addition, he serves on the Board of Directors of Breckinridge Capital Advisors, a manager of fixed income portfolios.
Previously, Mr. Beal was a Vice President at the Cambridge Trust Company, handling various duties ranging from commercial loans to branch management.
Prior to that he was with the Bank of New England, working in a variety of areas from retail banking, operations, credit training to commercial finance.
As a volunteer, he serves on the board of Homeowners Rehab, Inc., a provider of low income housing in Cambridge.
He is also a member of the Council for the Arts at MIT.
He formerly served on the Board of Trustees and the Investment Committee of the Shady Hill School and on the Board of Directors of the Brookline Music School.
Mr. Beal earned a BA from the University of Pennsylvania in 1975.
