Market relieved by BMW's results
Results are indeed not as bad as expected. Deliveries of new vehicles fell by 4% in 2024, from 2.55 million to 2.45 million. Sales fell by 8.4%, from ?155.5bn to ?142.4bn. The signal is clear - that the repeated price rises of recent years are no longer being digested by the market as they once were.
