Previously, Mr. Coleman worked in various capacities at Corporate Financial Advisors and Water Tower Capital (which was acquired by Corporate Financial Advisors), where he was involved in Financial Restructuring/Advisory, Investment Banking Services, Litigation Consulting and marketing a $300 million distressed investments fund.
Prior to Water Tower Capital, Mr. Coleman led a 9-person team as the co-manager of a special asset portfolio at Madison Capital Management.
From 1997-2001, Mr. Coleman was part of the Special Investments Group at PPM America in Chicago, which was responsible for managing approximately $900 million across three distressed debt funds.
Mr. Coleman started his career in investment banking at the Chicago office of Houlihan, Lokey, Howard & Zukin.
Mr. Coleman received an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a BS from Indiana University.
Mr. Coleman is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
