Mr. Robert G.
Hagstrom is a Chief Investment Officer & Senior Portfolio Manager at EquityCompass Investment Management LLC.
He joined EquityCompass as a Senior Portfolio Manager in April 2014 and launched the Global Leaders Portfolio in July 2014.
In addition, Mr. Hagstrom serves as Chairman of the Investment Management Committee for Stifel Asset Management.
Prior to joining EquityCompass, he was the Chief Investment Strategist of Legg Mason Investment Counsel, and before that, he spent 14 years as the Portfolio Manager of the Growth Equity Strategy at Legg Mason Capital Management, where he managed over $7 billion in assets.
Mr. Hagstrom was the recipient of “Honorable Mention” as Morningstar’s U.S.
Equity Manager of the Year in 2007.
Mr. Hagstrom earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s of Arts degrees from Villanova University and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Philadelphia.
