Mr. Malin commenced his investment career in 1960 and was most recently a General Partner of Tiedemann Investment Group (1991-1996), a $500 million global hedge fund complex.
Previously, Mr. Malin was a Managing Director at CS First Boston (1974-1990), responsible for the full range of domestic and overseas investment banking services to and relationships with major corporate clients, primarily in financial services, aerospace, energy, forest products, transportation, and health care.
Earlier, he was Senior Vice President and Director at Reynolds Securities (1972-1974) and at Blyth & Co. (1960-1971), providing investment banking transaction, analytical and advisory services to corporate clients.
Mr. Malin served on the Advisory Council to the Financial Accounting Standards Board and was chairman of the Investment Banking Committee of the Securities Industry Association.
Mr Malin is a graduate of Darmouth College and received an MBA from its Tuck School of Business Administration.
