Richard joined NCL as a result of the acquisition of Panmure Gordon in 2001.
NCL later merged with Smith & Williamson at the end of 2002.
He manages funds for a range of traditional private clients, trusts, pension funds and charities.
Richard was joint senior executive of Panmure Gordon, which he joined in 1992.
Prior to this, he spent more than twenty years with Walter Walker & Co, where he was a partner.
