Reuben Tung

Reuben is the Head of Regional Office at GXS Bank (GXS), a digital bank whose mission is to make banking better for everyday consumers and small businesses.
He oversees the bank’s regional growth strategy and technology development.
He serves on the Board of GXS and the Digibank in Malaysia.
Prior to this, Reuben was Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of Grab Financial Group, where he spearheaded all verticals across the region including payments, lending, insurance and wealth management.
Under his leadership, Grab Financial Group grew into one of the largest fintech in Southeast Asia, reaching unicorn status with the closing of its Series A funding.
He also led the company in securing Digibank licences in Singapore and Malaysia.
Reuben has launched multiple successful businesses with Grab and was also the Co-Founder and CEO of a telemedicine start-up.
He also serves on the board of Heliconia Capital (Temasek subsidiary).
He is passionate about leveraging his experience as a founder of multiple technology businesses to empower people with financial services so that they can learn, earn and save more towards their dreams.
Reuben holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from INSEAD.
