Before joining GEF in 2002, Ms. Vasilescu volunteered in Romania as a consultant, advising new companies on how to more efficiently manage their offices.
Prior to her work abroad, she was the Office Manager at GEF from 1999 until 2001.
Ms. Vasilescu graduated with honors from University of Maryland with a degree in Anthropology and is a member of the American Society of Corporate Secretaries.
