Mr. Peter J.
Gibbs is a Vice President & Senior Portfolio Manager at 1832 Asset Management LP.
He is a Co-Head of the Equity Income Team and focuses on investing in best-in-class businesses with strong balance sheets and sustainable cash flows among dividend- and distribution-paying equities and infrastructure companies on a global basis.
Mr. Gibbs joined the firm in 2000.
Mr. Gibbs has over 20 years of industry experience and has been integral in the growth of the 22 member team which manage approximately $48 billion in assets for retail and institutional investors.
Prior to this role, he was a Senior Manager of Fund Valuation at Canada Trust and an Auditor.
He received his Bachelor of Accounting from Brock University.
He is a CPA and CA as well as a CFA charterholder.
