Paal Gisholt is the founder and CEO of Blueshift Nutrition.
He was previously co-founder and CEO of SmartPak Equine, a leader in equine e-commerce using technology to create a compelling customer experience.
Paal was named one of the country’s “best bosses” by Winning Workplaces/Fortune Small Business.
He was also named an Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
Prior to starting SmartPak, Paal was a General Partner with Spray Venture Partners where he helped to raise its first fund and financed startup companies in the medical technology sector.
Previously Paal was with private equity firm Advent International, where he worked in both its Industrial and Healthcare groups from 1989 to 1997.
Paal started his career as a consultant with McKinsey & Company.
Paal holds a B.A., Phi Beta Kappa, from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A., with distinction, from Harvard Business School.
