Elie Habib currently sits on the Board of Directors of CradlePoint, Woopra, MobiNetS and NYMGO, various high growth startups.Until 2013 he was Principal Private Equity Fund Manager at Riyada Enterprise Development (RED), a US$700 million fund initiative of the Abraaj Group targeting investments in SMEs throughout the MENA region.
Prior to joining RED, Elie consulted startups in Silicon Valley.
In 2006, he co-founded Vusion, a cloud-based HD video streaming service, and served as its CEO and President until it was acquired in early 2009.
Elie also co-founded and served as President at Lebnet, a premier network of Lebanese high-tech professionals in the San Francisco area, from 1999 to 2010.
From 2001 to 2006, Elie held several senior positions within Nokia, including Senior Vice President and General Manager.
Earlier in his career, he served as Vice President of Engineering at Ramp Networks, a Silicon Valley SMB networking company that achieved IPO and was acquired by Nokia in 2001.
Elie holds a B.S.
in Computer Science and Mathematics from Universite de Rouen, France, a M.S.
in Computer Science from Universite Paul Sabatier in Toulouse, and a M.S.
in Computer Science from Case Western Reserve University.
He completed the Nokia Executive Program and the Stanford Executive Program.
