Mecure Industries Plc is a human therapeutics company. The Company is principally in the business of manufacturing drugs, such as tablets, capsules and syrups in Nigeria under two categories namely pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals. The Company’s Pharmaceuticals segment comprises of over 41 drugs, such as Ebu 200 and 400 (ibuprofen tablets), Laclox, Lamox (an amoxicillin formulation) and Lampicin (an ampicillin formulation), used in treating different ailments. The Nutraceuticals segment consist of approximately 100 products, including multivitamins and dietary supplements. Its products and services include acute ailment medication, chronic ailment medication, nutraceuticals, multivitamins and a planned expansion into chemotherapy medication. It also offers mobile applications, such as the Smart Pill and Smart Buy applications. These applications serve as online pharmacies that facilitate easy purchase and delivery of Company’s products to retail customers in urban cities.
