Claxson Interactive Group Inc. (Claxson) is a multimedia provider of branded entertainment content to Spanish and Portuguese speakers worldwide. The Company combined assets in pay television, and broadband and Internet to create an integrated media company with a portfolio of entertainment brands and multiple methods of distributing its content. The Company's pay television business consists primarily of its Playboy TV Latin America joint venture. The Company sold its seven Basic Pay TV Networks and related businesses to Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. The Company also sold its eight radio networks operations in Chile. Further, the Company completed merger with its subsidiary, Remainco Inc. As a result of the merger, Claxson completed its going private transaction and became a privately held company.
