Marafiq has received a letter from the Saudi Water Partnership Company, on December 4th 2025, indicating the selection as Preferred Bidder of its consortium for Arana Independent Sewage Treatment Plant (ISTP) under the Build, Own, Operate, Transfer (BOOT), for 25-year located in the Makkah province. Marafiq is the Consortium technical member, with 35% share, alongside the Miahona Company and Buhur for Investment Company ("Buhur"). The Project scope includes design, financing, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, completion, testing, ownership, operation and maintenance, handover, and transfer upon the expiry of the STA, of a new sewage treatment plant, having a treatment capacity of 250,000 m3/day, and of the associated facilities, including: Water Special Facility.
