Healthcare and care provider Attendo reported a decline in revenue for the fourth quarter compared to the same period last year, while net profit rose. The board is proposing an increased regular dividend.

"Reported net sales in Scandinavia declined slightly compared to the previous year, but growth in core operations, excluding contracts that have ended or are set to end, was more than 8 percent. During the quarter, we saw clear effects from the measures we have taken to change working methods and reduce our central costs. Our efforts to increase occupancy and improve staffing planning are also now yielding results," said CEO Martin Tivéus in a comment.
EBITA amounted to 494 million kronor (394), with an EBITA margin of 10.3 percent (8.1).
Lease-adjusted EBITA was 343 million kronor (225).
Profit after tax came in at 259 million kronor (108). Earnings per share amounted to 1.75 kronor (0.70). Adjusted earnings per share were 1.65 kronor (0.97), an increase of 70.1 percent compared to the previous year.
The proposed regular dividend is 1.80 kronor per share (1.20).
Free cash flow amounted to 482 million kronor (422).
"As we now leave 2025 behind and look ahead to 2026, we do so with a strengthened financial position, a clear focus on our important social mission, and high ambitions. We are increasing our investment rate and now have 800 new care places under construction. With our expertise in various care needs and our close cooperation with Swedish municipalities and Finnish welfare regions, we are ready to meet the growing demand for care in the coming years," said CEO Martin Tivéus in a comment.
