Tim Brown

Tim Brown is Director of Intellectual Property for Stemedica Cell Technologies, Inc. and an Attorney at the State of California.
Prior to joining Stemedica Cell Technologies, he was a Patent Examiner at the United States Patent & Trademark Office.
Mr. Brown has experience in drafting and managing patent applications and dockets related to stem cell and related technology through all the stages prosecution, researching and drafting opinions relating to patentability and freedom to operate, providing strategic guidance for patent portfolio development, assessing and negotiating in- licensing opportunities, preparation of discovery documentations, preparation of infringement complaints, drafting office actions, and managing outside intellectual consultants and advisors.
He received a JD from the California Western School of Law, an MS degree in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University, and an MBA from California Polytechnic State University.
