Thomas Rau

Mr. Thomas Rau is an Analyst at equinet Bank AG.
He was previously employed as Head of Sector Research by Montega AG.
Mr. Rau has more than 13 years of professional experience in equity research.
He began his career at BHF Bank before making the switch in 2005 to Commerzbank, where he built up the Germany Research department as the senior analyst and head of the capital goods segment.
He also helped several companies (including Demag Cranes) successfully go public.
He moved to Hamburg in early 2008 to begin working for M.M.
Warburg, where he was also responsible for the Capital Goods Research department.
He is one of the most renowned mechanical engineering analysts in Europe.
This is seen largely in the numerous awards he has received.
Mr. Rau studied business administration at Justus-Liebig University in Giessen, Germany and at Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main, with a focus on banking management and financing, international accounting, financial analysis and auditing.
He is a Certified European Financial Analyst.
