Mr. Steven M.
Ayer is a Managing Director & Partner at HighTower Advisors LLC.
He has been in the financial services industry for over 24 years.
Mr. Ayer is active in his community as a Member of United Way of Southeastern Connecticut’s Finance Committee, volunteering with The Last Green Valley and being active in various ministries at Seaport Community Church in Groton.
He is the Author of “Choosing Simplicity”, a book about diligence and making choices that are in line with one’s priorities, which was published in early 2011.
Mr. Ayer received his Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Connecticut State University in 1994 where he majored in Finance and minored in Economics.
He is a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA), which is one of the premier industry designations from IMCA (Investment Management Consultants Association) as well as an AIF (Accredited Investment Fiduciary), a designation that he received from the Center for Fiduciary Studies.
