Mr. Shane M.
Magoon is a Partner & Head of Global Fixed Income Trading at Lord, Abbett & Co. LLC.
He is responsible for managing the trading activities of Lord Abbett’s Global Fixed Income Trading team.
In this role, he oversees the resources and process used to provide cost-effective execution for the trading of currencies and fixed income instruments related to investment grade and high yield credit, leveraged loans, convertible bonds, U.S.
rates, and emerging market hard and local currency debt.
He joined Lord Abbett in 2004 and was named Partner in 2017.
Prior to his current role, he served as the Deputy Director of Global Fixed Income Trading and traded high yield credit and leveraged loans.
Mr. Magoon's previous experience includes serving as Mutual Fund Accountant at State Street Corp.
He has worked in the financial services industry since 2003.
He earned a BS in finance from Villanova University and an MBA from New York University’s Leonard N.
Stern School of Business.
