Mr. Broadbent is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Avana Capital Corporation, a Toronto-based private merchant bank and venture capital firm, which invests in public and privately held companies.
He is also Chairman of the Maytree Foundation.
The Maytree Foundation's primary concern is poverty in Canada, with a special focus on support programs for refugees and immigrants in Canada.
Mr. Broadbent holds several other positions including Chairman and CEO of Jamscor Inc. and Chairman of the Philanthropic Initiative.
