Jonathan Mapes is Chief Technology Officer of New Edge Networks, Inc. Prior to joining New Edge Networks in July, 2001 he was Chief Technology Officer of WorldCom Broadband Solutions in Dallas.
Previously, he was Vice President of Emerging Technologies for Skytel.
He held network, engineering and technology planning positions with Southwestern Bell Mobile Systems, Comstock Communications and AT&T Bell Laboratories.
He has more than 20 years experience in network engineering and technology planning.
Mr. Mapes received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences from the University of Texas in Arlington.
