Mr. Christopher C.
Wheaton, CPA, is a Partner & Managing Director at Beacon Pointe Advisors LLC.
He has over 25 years of experience in the investment industry, advising individuals, families, endowments, foundations, and retirement plans with a thoughtful, goals-based approach.
Mr. Wheaton joined Beacon Pointe through the 2025 acquisition of Litman Gregory Wealth Management, where he had been a principal since 2001.
During his tenure at Litman Gregory, he also served as Co-CEO of the Litman Gregory companies and Managing Principal of the firm’s Investment Advisory business.
Prior to Litman Gregory, he was a Senior Manager at Arthur Andersen, serving clients in the Investment Advisory and Personal Financial Planning groups.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Illinois-Urbana-Champaign.
